A unique experience awaits you. Kyoto’s best pancakes, the result of a collaboration by owner Akiko Hirano and Hudson Valley culinary arts teacher Cheryl Jean, will softly melt in your mouth as you enjoy your surroundings, a classic 200 year old Kyoto town house called Machiya in Japanese. Surrounded by Ms. Hirano’s personally collected antique and modern furniture, as well as traditional Japanese arts and crafts, each pancake is meticulously prepared to your satisfaction.
The Cafe also offers for your enjoyment other delicacies such as home-made scones, delicious cakes, quiche and chocolate pies prepared by its sister shop, Matsunosuke also located in Kyoto.
